A note from the artist:
A study of transexual/transgender bodies.
It seems that our definition of gender is based on ‘lack’. A man ‘lacks’ breasts, ‘lacks’ a uterus. A woman ‘lacks’ a penis, ‘lacks’ testicles. In this image, I’ve played with this view of gender. A ‘lack’ of breasts, a ‘lack’ of a penis. ‘Abundant’ breasts, ‘abundant’ penis.
Aesthetically speaking, I always thought that penises kind of ruined the planes and lines of the male figure. All smooth, flat muscles and then… this floppy, dangly thing.
The more I began to think about it, the more it seemed to me that the neat, tucked away form of the vagina would suit the masculine form. Whereas women already have flesh and curves, and a penis would be more aesthetically suitable for that form.(via h00kah-sm0ke)

Me:You know, that could happen to any one of us. You don't belong making fun of someone like that, what's wrong with you?Girl:God gave me a mouth to speak & I'm gonna use it.Me:Well, God gave you a mouth to eat too, but you abused that privilege.Girl:-Speechless-Me:Oh, & you might wanna wipe that ketchup off of your chin.Girl:-Goes to wipe chin-Me:No, your other chin.Posted on January 12, 2012 via Let It Be with 49,085 notes

She is beyond beautiful. This isn’t some tan girl covered in makeup with perfectly straight hair and a perfect smile. This is a girl with Pfeiffer Syndrome, who has had bangs her whole life to hide her forehead and struggles everyday to be okay with looking this way. She’s had several surgeries and will have a couple more. she can’t wear makeup much, her eyes are sensitive. Her jaw is misaligned. Her forehead is too thick and has to be shaven down. Her cheekdowns have to be moved forward by surgery. when she was four she had something called a ‘halo’ which was a metal circle screwed into her skull and jaw.though she fought through it medically, she struggles everyday with the emotional sideeffects. she doesn’t look like her family or her friends. she may never look normal. she has depression and eating issues because of what she has had to accept about herself. she has done awful things to be pretty.nobody ever sees her without makeup or without bangs. until now .
This is beauty , not all your called ‘beauty’ , she doesn’t need makeup , this is TRUE beauty .
